FAMILY WELCOMES
Family life is evolving all the time. A ceremony formally acknowledges, celebrates and strengthens the special bonds, old and new, that exist between loved ones.

Naming Ceremony
The birth of a baby brings the opportunity to formally welcome this precious little person into your lives and hearts by making a public declaration of the names you have chosen for them.
Different to a traditional christening in that the focus is not on religion but on the child and the bonds of family and friendship, the occasion can also be a wonderful way to honour those who have supported you on your journey to parenthood.
Each naming ceremony I create is thoughtfully and lovingly tailored to the family’s individual needs and wishes, resulting in a celebration that will be remembered with warmth and smiles for years to come.

Welcoming Ceremonies
Receiving the wonderful news that an adoption has been finalised is certainly cause for celebration. A welcoming ceremony can elevate the occasion from a party to something more formal and meaningful.
You can still keep it small and intimate if you choose to. Or you might see it as an opportunity to gather everyone who has supported you on your emotional journey to get to this place.
Family and friends might wish to make their own promises to the child, extending that circle of love and security. I will work with you to understand what is important to you and your family as you embark on this new beginning and how you want this special day to look, feel and be remembered.

Blending Ceremonies
Bringing two families together marks the start of a whole new chapter for you all. If your relationship with your partner has made you step-parents, a blending ceremony is a chance to publicly declare your commitment to the new family unit you have created.
Acknowledging the new roles you each have and making personal promises for your shared future can be seen as a way of sealing your togetherness.

By incorporating a symbolic element, or encouraging your youngsters to get involved in the planning, you can ensure that you all have a special role to play, cementing that feeling of unity and of becoming one.
